LE CHÂTEAU DE GAUDIGNY, FRANCE
CULTURE SPACE & CENTRE FOR ART ZAO WOU-KI
Le Château de Gaudigny is a manor house dating back to the 15th-17th centuries, located in the Loiret region near Paris, on the road to Montargis. The property is also known as the second home in France of the artist Zao Wou-Ki. Zao Wou-Ki used the château as his studio and created many of his large paintings and triptychs there.
Once renovations are completed in 2026, the Foundation managing the property plans to create a space dedicated to preserving Zao Wou-Ki's memory and legacy while fostering cultural exchanges and relationships between France and Asia. The goal is to establish the château as a hub for art supporters and thinkers to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding.
